• Former Local Education Authority Adviser for Torbay (responsible for the development of alternative provision for primary aged children and working for all Primary, Special and Secondary Schools to implement new programmes and support for the most vulnerable children

• Over 30 years of experience in education (a range of settings from small rural primary schools to large urban schools in areas of considerable deprivation)
• Leader of the Targeted Mental Health in Schools Programme and worked with agencies from Health, Social Care and Education to develop services to support families and children in need. Delivered training in Developing Emotionally Healthy Schools and Change Management to support schools in changing the culture of their settings to put the well being of staff and children at the heart of their vision and values
• Educational Consultant specifically supporting schools in developing inclusive practice and meeting the needs of vulnerable learners
• Principal Educator in Trauma Informed Practice
