I was a secondary school teacher, a Local Authority Advisor, Inspector, OFSTED Inspector, psychotherapist and Founding Director of Thrive.

I was a teacher for many years always concerned for those young people we failed to reach.

My training in Psychotherapy helped me to begin to refine my understanding about how we could begin to meet the needs of traumatised children more effectively. I was part of a team of 4 who created Thrive; a project aiming to help adults meet the emotional developmental needs of children and young people.

Currently I am delighted to be part of the inspirational TISUK project because it aims to fundamentally change the life trajectory of children and young people who are in pain.
