TISUK’s Assessment Appeals, Feedback and Complaints Procedure
We are aligned with all UK Universities in this policy, namely that you cannot use the complaint procedure to contest an academic mark or assessors’ decisions regarding personal readiness. It is however possible to complain if it is believed that there was an error in the assessment procedure e.g. you were not given the time allowed, or there was noise interference.
Feedback and duty of care:
Where an application is unsuccessful, we regret that we do not give feedback. Sometimes applicants are asked to undergo personal therapy and reapply. As part of our duty of care, there are also occasions where we reserve the right to gain from applicants and students a medical and/or psychiatric report prior to attending the taster day or on the training itself, before continuing on the training. This is due to the nature of our training programmes and interview sessions which can be emotionally challenging.
